The chart of the
uninitiated
Almost every mag has a chart now (rumours say RAW will open one, too), so we
thought we needed one aswell. Best Coder? Oldie. Best Vegetable? Trying
to be funny. Anti-charts? For the very 5th time. No, no, no - we have a
better idea, maybe it will not be boring for one issue. I hear, you wanna let
the world know about the scene? There you go, let the totally unexperienced
Man Of The Street vote for your production!
For this reason, I showed my collection of demos, modules and pictures to
several people (relatives, classmates, friends, pets, PC freaks (!) and other
weird non-scene creatures), to be exact people (not bad at all, the even
the EC has just slightly more...), and noted their comments and collected
their 'votes'. So here are the bests and the worsts of the scene - from a
different aspect...

And now, for your pleasure here are some of the rather funny comments I could
hear from some guys while watching the show:
"A computer can never give the feeling of real music"
- guy before listening to the modules
"I was wrong... very wrong..."
- guy after listening to the modules
"I can draw like that"
- guy looking at the vectoranim in Desert Dreams
By the way, read the article 'The lamest letter' for a laugh, and the
interview with a famous PC coder to get in full view of the other side of the
so called PC-Amiga war.
